To correct this error, navigate to Media Manager > Edit > Preferences > Assets, and, under Checkout Location, either select “Application Directory” or specify the path to any other folder in “Other Location”.
Note: A best practice to follow is to have this folder located on the local system and not on a network volume.
Background: This error occurs when the Checkout location in the Media Manager Preferences is set incorrectly or the location no longer exists.
